We do not access or use the content of care plans, notes, or other records you create in PocketCarer. That information remains private to your account.

• Process subscription payments via Stripe.
• Monitor feature use and improve the platform.

3. Relatives App

• The Relatives App provides invited family members or nominated contacts with view-only access to records.
• Invitations and removals are managed by the account holder.

4. Data Storage & Retention

• Account and usage data is stored securely on servers located in the UK/EU.
• If your paid subscription ends, your account will move to the free Basic plan. Your data will remain stored, but features linked to paid plans will be locked.
• Data for accounts on the free Basic plan is retained for 12 months from the date of last login.
• One month before the end of this 12-month period, we will notify you. After deletion, your account and data cannot be recovered.
• If you return after deletion, you will need to create a new account.

We process account and usage data under:

• Contract: to deliver the PocketCarer service.
• Legal obligation: for tax and accounting purposes.
• Legitimate interest: to monitor usage and improve the platform.
